With Embed, you can easily create a thumbnail with the link embedded. You can choose to add the full description or use only the image. The button is added to the composer for easy access while you are drafting a message.

Privacy & Data Disclosure

This app accesses, uses, and stores the following data:

  • URL Links: URLs entered by agents in the composer are accessed to retrieve Open Graph metadata (title, description, images, video information).
  • Open Graph Metadata: Retrieved metadata from third-party services (YouTube, Vimeo, etc.) is temporarily processed to generate rich preview thumbnails.
  • Ticket Comments: The app inserts formatted HTML content with embedded images and links into ticket comments.

Data is used solely for the purpose of generating rich link previews within Zendesk tickets. No personal information is stored or transmitted to external servers beyond the Open Graph API service used to retrieve link metadata. All data processing occurs in real-time and is not retained after the preview is generated.

Installation
