The Zendesk app and Chrome extension run entirely within the user’s browser. No ticket data is transmitted to external servers, and no backend infrastructure is used to process or store customer information.
Ticket content, customer information, and account data remain within the Zendesk environment and the user’s active browser session. ZenNotification does not store, replicate, or persist Zendesk ticket data outside of the browser.
ZenNotification does not sell, share, or transfer customer data to third parties. The extension only accesses the minimum information required to detect relevant ticket activity and display browser notifications to the authenticated user.
We use analytics tools to collect limited, non-sensitive usage data such as feature interactions, installation status, and general performance metrics. This data is used solely to improve product functionality, reliability, and user experience. Analytics data does not include ticket content, customer data, or personally identifiable Zendesk end-user information.

Installation
Install the ZenNotification app in Zendesk from the Zendesk Marketplace.
(Optional) Open the ZenNotification settings page and configure your notification preferences (for example: which alert types to enable, which views to monitor, and any mute settings).
Install the ZenNotification Chrome extension. Once installed, it activates automatically when you use Zendesk in Chrome.
