Permissions: This app requests a Zendesk API token which is used to create/update/uninstall a webhook and (de)register the integration. EdgeTier does not store the Zendesk API key and it's configured as a secure setting as well.
Installation
Preconditions
Before installing the EdgeTier Zendesk App, please ensure the following: - Create a Zendesk Admin API token following these instructions.
- Request your EdgeTier credentials by contacting [email protected].
Installation Steps
- Type in the credentials provided by email as well as the Zendesk API token.
- Select your preferred role and group restrictions.
- Click Install.
- Navigate to the Support view in Zendesk.
- Click on the EdgeTier icon in the topbar.
- Click the Install button.
7. Wait for the installation process to complete.
