Find and remove unwanted ticket CCs and Followers in bulk
About Bulk CC & Followers Remover
About SupportZen
SupportZen builds lightweight, privacy-first tools that help support teams work faster inside Zendesk.
What Bulk CC & Followers Remover does well
Managing CCs and Followers one ticket at a time is slow and error-prone. Bulk CC & Followers Remover gives admins and agents a safe, efficient way to clean up tickets at scale.
- Search by email address across tickets
- Works on tickets in New, Open, Pending, On-hold, Solved, and optionally Closed status (depending on the filters you choose)
- Shows clear ticket context: subject, requester, and status for each match
- Bulk remove CCs, collaborators (when CC removal is enabled), and Followers in safe batches with progress tracking
- Handles large sets (auto-batching with retry/backoff for rate limits)
- Clear notes: Closed or Archived tickets cannot be altered by Zendesk and are skipped automatically
Data handling & disclosures
We take data minimization and security seriously.
- Data accessed: Ticket metadata (ID, subject, status, requester, org, assignee), CC/Follower lists, and related user records needed to validate or remove entries.
- How data is processed: All API calls are made via the Zendesk Apps Framework (ZAF) from the agent’s browser session. Data is used only in-session to render search results and apply removals.
- Storage & transmission: We do not send customer data to any external servers or third-party services. No data is persisted beyond the agent’s browser memory.
- Access controls: The app respects the signed-in agent’s Zendesk permissions; it cannot access tickets or users the agent is not authorized to view.
- Misuse prevention: No background collection, tracking, or secondary use. Data is not shared, sold, or used for training.
- Configuration: No configuration is required. All operations run in-session using the agent’s own API permissions.
