Data Handling & Privacy
- Transfers messages between Whatsapp and Zendesk; no other Zendesk data accessed.
- Data stored: Whatsapp user identifiers (phone number, name, ID, avatar), messages, and attachments.
- Retention: messages 30 days, attachments 180 days, (or 1 hour if attachments are stored in Zendesk).
- Secure backend processing; access restricted to required integration permissions.

For legacy QR connection option: * Admin Center → Channel apps → OAPPS for WhatsApp Support → Accounts tab → [Add account] * Scan QR code with WA Business app. * Press Save button.
