Prerequisites
- Administrator permissions in Okta
- Administrator permissions in Zendesk Support
Installation Steps
Create an Okta API Token
- Navigate to Okta API Token Creation
- Create a service account with admin credentials (recommended)
- Alternatively, use an existing admin account to create a temporary token
Install the App
- Click the Free trial button in the Zendesk App Marketplace
- This will initiate the Okta Admin Pro setup in your Zendesk Support account
Configure Settings
- Enter your Okta subdomain (e.g., for company.okta.com, enter
company) - Paste your API token from step 1
- Configure optional features:
- Group Management: Enable to manage Okta group memberships
- App Management: Enable to manage Okta application assignments
- Enter your Okta subdomain (e.g., for company.okta.com, enter
Complete Installation
- Click Install to activate Okta Admin Pro
