About Kanban by BCR
Kanban by BCR is a Zendesk Support app developed by BCR, designed to help teams organize, prioritize, and track their work directly within the Zendesk interface.
The app provides an intuitive Kanban board that integrates seamlessly with Zendesk workflows, allowing users to create and manage tasks, update statuses, assign responsibilities, define due dates, and monitor progress without leaving Zendesk. This helps support and operations teams maintain visibility and efficiency while working in their daily environment.
Data Usage and Privacy: Kanban by BCR runs entirely inside the Zendesk platform and interacts with Zendesk data exclusively through the Zendesk App Framework (ZAF Client). The app does not use external server-side services to access Zendesk APIs.
The app accesses only the minimum data required for its functionality, such as tickets, users, groups, and project-related information, in accordance with Zendesk policies and applicable data protection laws, including the LGPD. No customer data is sold, shared with third parties, or used for purposes other than providing the app’s functionality.
Customer data is not stored outside of Zendesk. Limited non-sensitive configuration data (such as user interface preferences) may be stored locally in the user’s browser using localStorage.
Privacy Policy and Terms of Use: The Kanban app includes a dedicated Terms of Use and Privacy section accessible directly within the application interface, where users can review detailed information about data handling, security practices, and usage conditions.
Installation
Access the Zendesk Marketplace and search for "Kanban by BCR".
Click "Install" and select the Zendesk account where the app will be installed.
Review the requested permissions. The app requires access to Zendesk data such as tickets, users, and groups in order to function correctly.
Complete the installation process.
Open Zendesk Support and locate the Kanban by BCR app in the Zendesk interface (Apps section).
On first use, review and accept the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy presented inside the app.
Once accepted, the app is ready to use. Users can immediately start creating and managing projects and tasks using the Kanban board directly within Zendesk.
