About Tweet Preview
X (formerly Twitter) is where conversations happen in real time and where customers can engage publicly with your brand.
The Tweet Preview app extends Zendesk’s X integration by allowing agents to do more without leaving the Zendesk Agent Workspace. It helps agents better understand the context of X conversations and respond more efficiently.
With this app, agents can:
- See which post a reply refers to
- View and play attached videos and audio files directly in Zendesk, without opening a new window

Installation
Install the app — Click Install in the Zendesk Marketplace and use the NOCC coupon to install without a credit card.
See how the app works
- Open any ticket created from an X (formerly Twitter) mention. You can find these tickets by searching for the keyword via:twitter.
- Click the Apps and integrations icon in the right sidebar to open the apps panel. If you have multiple apps installed, you may need to scroll to find the app. The Tweet content will be displayed there.
- (Optional) You can change the order of your apps in Admin Center → Zendesk Support apps → Reorder apps.
If you are on the Zendesk Enterprise plan, you can create a Conditional Workspace for X mentions so the app opens first in the right sidebar for X-related tickets.
