Installation
Requirements:
To use this Telegram Channel Integration, you must have a pre-configured Telegram Bot..
You can create and configure a bot using Telegram Bot Father in Telegram.
Installation Steps:
- Install the Telegram Channel Integration from the Zendesk Marketplace.
- In Zendesk Support settings, go to Channel Integrations.
- Select “Telegram Channel”
- Review the General Information tab and update details if needed.
- Go to the Accounts tab and click “Add an Account”.
- In the pop-up window: Enter an Integration Name for your company.
- Provide your Telegram Bot Private Token.
- Click “Submit”—you're all set!
You can now start chatting with your customers via Telegram!
Note: If you want to receive all of your customer messages in a group chat, please set up your Bot disabling the Group Privacy Policy in your Telegram Bot configuration in Bot Father.
