Easily Clone System Fields
The Clone System Fields allows you to quickly and accurately duplicate Zendesk system fields that cannot be cloned from the native clone tool in Zendesk fields.
Cloning system fields has broad applications:
Since forms are not reactive to the Groups field, using a cloned version allows you to create group-reactive forms.
A cloned Priority field can be used to set priorities related to projects or deadlines secondary to the ticket priority.
Combining this with other apps, such as SweetHawk’s Hide Ticket Fields app or TurboAgent’s Group Field Sync app (coming soon) allows additional flexibility.
By cloning system fields, you can maintain consistency in your data while tailoring fields to meet specific needs. This functionality can help streamline your workflows, enhance data organization, and improve overall efficiency in managing your Zendesk environment.
Installation
Click on the 'Install' button.
Once the installation is complete, navigate to the top navigation bar where you should see the 'Clone System Fields' app icon.
Click on the 'Clone System Fields' app icon to open the app.
