Bulk redact attachments from closed tickets within a date range.
About Attachment Redaction Tool
This app helps agents bulk redact attachments from closed tickets within a selected date range. Agents can choose a start and end date, view closed tickets with attachments, and redact selected attachments with a single click.
The app runs directly within your Zendesk account and does not require any additional credentials or API keys.
How it works:
- Select a date range (week or month recommended). Avoid selecting a long date range, as it may take more time to process.
- Click the Search button and wait. It may take several minutes while the application searches for closed tickets and analyzes each reply within those tickets to find attachments.
- Once the search is complete, you will see a list of all found attachments.
- You can then redact individual attachments or bulk redact all of them at once.
Data Privacy & Security
This app processes ticket data (including attachments) solely within your Zendesk account to perform redaction actions requested by the agent. No ticket data or attachments are stored, transmitted, or shared with external servers or third parties. All operations are executed using Zendesk APIs under the permissions granted by your account, ensuring that data access is limited and secure. We do not collect, retain, or use customer data for any purpose other than providing the app’s functionality.
Installation
Install the app and launch it from the left navigation bar in your Zendesk account.
