8returns Agent is a support app that displays the details of customers' returns right from their support ticket. It helps support agents to quickly access return information and provide better customer service. The app integrates seamlessly with the 8returns platform, allowing agents to view return details and status without leaving the support interface.

How it works

When you have the 8returns Agent app installed, it will automatically display returns associated with the e-mail address of the customer who submitted the support ticket. That might not always help, for example if the customer used different contact details, so there is also an option to manually enter an order ID or another e-mail address.

The app will then fetch the return details from 8returns and display them in a user-friendly format. Support agents can see the status of the return and the items being returned. This allows agents to quickly understand the context of the return and provide accurate information to the customer.

Security and Privacy

The app only fetches return details when a support ticket is opened, in order to display it to the user; no data is stored in the app itself. The app only communicates with the 8returns API to fetch return details. All communication is secured using HTTPS, and is authenticated using OAuth2 tokens - that is, the app does not ask you for your password, you log in on 8returns and authorize the app to access your return data.
